Trends.
I've noticed a few trends in my play over the past few days. The longer I play, the looser I get. Also, in cash games, the longer I play, the less attention I pay to the game. I've had the same little roller-coaster ride the past few days in NL cash games. I jump out to a nice little profit, then slowly leak it back to the table with loose calls and lack of attention.
Ideally, I'd like to close this leak by telling myself: pay more attention--don't loosen up (when it isn't appropriate to loosen up). I think I'll start out by doing this, but if that doesn't work I might have to take more drastic measures.
Here goes nothing~
Paul P has an interesting post up about motivation, that many of you will probably find some similarities with--I definitely did.

That's also a challenge for me, especially in cash games. I have to constantly remind myself to focus, and pay attention to all of the information that is swirling around the table. It is also important to be patient - I even wrote an entire post on my blog about patience some time ago.
And, Red Bull works wonders. ;)
Thanks as always for your comment!
