Bald Eagle Hunting

My parents went up to the cabin on Wednesday. They only spent a few minutes at the cabin proper, to make sure the place is still standing. For the rest of the day, they went bald eagle hunting. Endangered, smangered.

Although once a member of the NRA, my Dad has traded in his guns for cameras, and got a pretty snazzy Canon Rebel Digital SLR for Christmas, and then for his birthday in early January he got one of those really nice big zoom lenses to mount onto his new camera.

So...? Taste like chicken? I heard bald eagles taste a lot like the spotted owl.

Kidding! Nice pics.

Enjoyed the last post about the idea of anonymity. I've found myself biting my tongue just due to a few specific individual's readership... I imagine for one in your profession, you'd be even more apt to refrain from telling it like it is.

Oh, and that's neat about the USBank position... I worked for them for a year right out of college myself, a handful of years ago now.

Lookin' forward to meetin' ya at the home game upcoming!

Awesome pics. As a backyard bird watcher, I'm thrilled over seeing hawks land on my fence. I can only image a bald eagle that is twice as large would be exciting to see.
